A Walk Down Memory Lane

Looking back at Café Soeurette, television memories, and finding pride in where the journey has led today.

Well I woke up this am and noticed via “The book of Face” that my old friend John McGivern is in Germantown tonight at the PAC doing a show! I have no clue if there are tickets still available, but hey if you’re going, have a laugh or two for me!

I think it was 2016 if my memory serves me right that West Bend, WI was featured on his show, Around the Corner! I was honored that my first endeavor Cafe Soeurette was chosen to be featured on the show. He is just as kind and funny in real life as when the cameras are off as he is on the big screen! I was so nervous to be on Camera then but he made it so easy. Man I have a copy somewhere of this spotlight somewhere, maybe its time to get it out and relive it. Its funny we tried to look it up today and I forgot how much press I received in my younger days. I joke now that I’m a middle aged washed up old woman chef cause no one wants to interview me any more 🤣🤣🤣. But it’s ok I feel like this kitchen crew is putting out cusine I’m so proud of everyday! I guess we are the best kept secret in G-town!

On that note we have some killer features this evening! For reservations call 262-415-5680
