The Announcement


May 10, 2019 – Germantown, WI – There’s a new independent restaurant opening in the next couple months in Germantown. It’s an old-school location with a unique twist and a recognizable owner.

Jodi Janisse-Kanzenbach is the genius behind a new eatery called The Precinct. It will be in the old Germantown Police Station on Church Street, just around the corner from Barley Pop Pub, N116 W16137 Main Street.

Karina - HR Director & General Manager

I'm the HR Director & General Manager at Precinct & Barley Pop! Along with business networking; hiring and training; customer relations. I'm really excited for my new role!


Angie - Sous Chef

I enjoy the environment of this kitchen and hope that is translated through the food and every customers' experience.


Allan - Dishwasher

I enjoy working with everyone; it’s like a big family. I’m just Happy to be here!


AJ - Server

Birth Doula, student midwife and mom of 4, I enjoy gardening, art the northwoods and spending time with my family.


Maddie - Host

I am a student at Germantown High School. I love working at the Prec1nct. It is such a great environment, and I have met so many wonderful people


Mike - Beer Curator

My teacher told me I'd never amount to much because I procrastinate so much. I told them, "Just you wait!"

Caitlyn - Server/Bartender

Prec1nct not only gives me the greatest work environment, but they have given me family. I work here beacuse I'm included. accepted and supported no matter what. I love what I do, who I work with and what we are able to provide to the community. Farm to table, made from scratch food can't be beat!

Lynn - Hostess

Prec1nct is such a fun place to work. Seeing every customer come in and being able to greet and seat brings me joy. Not only have I created some bonding friendships with coworkers I have also with some regular customers.


Kaila - Server

I’m a stay-at-home mom of two young boys. You’ll find me serving at Prec1nct most Saturday nights. I come for the adult conversation and to serve delicious food, but I stay for the shift drink!
